The working hours of employees will be automatically deducted if setting meal time. For example, if an employee works 8 hours per day, Workstem system will automatically counts his/her working hours to 7 hours if you set 1 hour as his/her meal break. Consequently, the extra 1 hour needs to to be supplemented by applying for a timesheet.

For example:
The employee is hourly rate who only needs to work 2 hours today (11:00 - 13:00) , but there is 1 hour for lunch. If you want the 1 hour meal time to be deducted, you need to set Deduct Meal Break (Minutes).
