The working hours of employees will be deducted automatically during meal time. For example, an employee works 8 hours per day, Workstem system will automatically counts his/her working hours to 7 hours if you set one hour already as his/her meal break. Consequently, the extra one hour needs to to be supplemented by applying for a timesheet.

For example:
The employee is paid on hourly basis who only need to work 2 hours today (11:00 - 13:00) , but there is an hour for lunch time due to the noon time. If the setting method is as follows, the system will default to the number of hours the employee will work for 1 hour, because lunch time will be deducted.

Solutions

  1. Apply a timesheet of 1 hour for supplement.

  2. Do not set the deduct meal break.
