Manually Add Employee Information


Step 1: Add Employee

Navigate to "People" --> Click on "+ New"

Step 2: Complete Mandatory Employee Information

Three mandatory fields: Name (display name), valid email address, date of employment.

Note⚠️: Depending on the functionalities you intend to use, the items to be filled on the employee information page may vary. Some information directly impacts the use of functionalities. Some information is solely for the purpose of maintaining employee records.

Note⚠️: If you wish to fully utilise the scheduling clock-in/clock-out feature, you also need to specify office clock-in points.

Note⚠️: If you wish to fully utilise the payroll feature, you also need to specify employment type, salary rules, basic salary, and payment method.

All other fields are optional. Please complete according to the actual situation of the company. After completion, be sure to click "Save" in the upper right corner of the system.


Employee Profile Information Items Explanation:

  1. Name (Display Name): If your company uses different ways to address employees, some may prefer English names, while others may use Chinese names directly. Here, you can fill in the name you are most accustomed to using for employees.

  2. Email Address: After identity verification, logging into the Employee App allows you to start experiencing features such as clocking in and out, and viewing schedules.

  3. Join Date: Used for future automatic calculation of holiday balances and other information.

Attention⚠️:

In addition to the mentioned content above, there are many other pieces of information in the employee profile that do not affect the functionality. This information can be modified or updated at any time after adding the employee.

Items such as position, department, office location, and payroll policy need to be pre-set in the system. Dropdown menus will automatically be generated in the employee profile for selection. If the dropdown menu has no content, it indicates that you have not made any settings in the system yet. You need to go to the relevant module to complete the settings before adding them.
