Workstem system supports Bluetooth clock-in function, how to operate it? Let’s introduce it in detail below:
Step 1
Purchase a Bluetooth device: Workstem does not currently support the use of Bluetooth devices from other vendors to clock-in. Please go to Workstem’s online store to purchase dedicated Workstem Bluetooth device. For specific operations, please refer to “Bluetooth Device Purchase Guide”. (Note: Only applicable to Workstem one App，If added through the web page, the default value of Major is 10001, and the default value of Minor is 19641.)
Step 2
After received the Bluetooth device:
Boot: Open the back cover with a rotary knob, press and hold the button. After 3 seconds, the blue LED keeps on for 5 seconds, then the boot is successful.
Power-off: In the power-on state, open the back cover with a rotary knob, press and hold the button. After 3 seconds, the blue LED keeps on for 5 times, then the shutdown is successful.
Step 3
There will be a label information on the Bluetooth device you receive, which will have the device ID (Workstem_00xxx in the first line), Major and Minor information, please add the corresponding content to the system.
Method 1: The administrator adds the Bluetooth clock-in device on the web page
Log in to the web system, click「Company」>「Device」>「New Device」.
Device Type Selection - Bluetooth Device;
Enter Device Name, Major, Minor and Device ID > Click Save.
Note⚠️: Major, Minor and device ID are very important, please fill in correctly according to the information we provide, so as not to affect normal use.
Method 2:
After boot operation, use Workstem one APP to add a Bluetooth clock-in device, Workstem one App needs to turn on the phone’s Bluetooth function and location information, and click 「More」> 「Bluetooth Device」>「Add Bluetooth Device」>「Scan Bluetooth 」>「Add」>「Restrict Check-in/out location」(Yes/No) >「Confirm」(Note: Only applicable to Workstem one App)
If you need to modify clock-in device information, you can click 「Edit」> 「Modify」> 「Save」or 「Delete」.
