My subordinate has submitted a leave application, but when I log in to my Supervisor App, I do not see the pending leave application for approval. What should I do?

Generally, there are three possibilities for this situation:

  1. The employee’s leave application was not submitted successfully
  2. No direct manager was assigned to that employee
  3. Another direct manager was set for that employee

Confirm whether the leave application is submitted successfully

Employees may make an error when submitting the leave application and causing an unsuccessful submission. You can log in to the Staff App > More > Leave Application to confirm whether there is a successful leave application form here.

No direct manager was assigned to that employee

The default approval process of the system is that after the employee submits the leave application, it will be submitted to the direct manager. If the manager is not set, the application will be approved directly in the system by default.

Check steps:

For HR/administrator users, find the employee in the [People] list on the Web, double-click to open it, and find the [Manager] field. If it is blank, it means there is no manager set to that employee.

Another direct manager was set for that employee

If the application has been submitted successfully, the employee can find the successfully submitted leave application form in the Staff App > More> Leave Application, and click [Check Workflow] to see who is the next reviewer.

For HR/admin users, find the employee in the [People] list on the Web, double-click to open, find the [Manager] field, modify it to the correct manager, and [Save]

If the direct manager setting is incorrect and the manager cannot see the pending application in the mobile app, you can find the leave application form in the web system by clicking [Leave] > [Leave Application] > Press [Delete] to delete the previous leave application and resubmit it.
