How does the store or branch use the company name to calculate Payroll and file Taxes?

Workstem provides “System Display Name” and “BR Name” for users to manage the store or branch name and company name separately.

Workstem Web System --> Company --> Company --> System Display Name & BR Name

If you are a Payroll Outsourcing Company, your customer is a Chain Business. They need to Manage Different Stores Separately and Use the Same Name of the Company in Payroll and Tax Returns.

For Example:

The Chain Business has three stores located in different areas. Each store manager runs their own employees’ schedule, attendance, etc. The information of these three stores is independent, e.g. neither store B nor C can see the employee information of store A. How should we deal with the above case setting?

Workstem provides “System Display Name” and “BR Name” for users to manage separately. It can be dealt with in the following two steps:

  1. Use your different stores or branches' names to register a Workstem account. It can help distinguish different stores or branches.

  2. Modify the "BR Name" to unify the company name in payroll and tax returns

Step 1:Register a Workstem account with Store names.

Register several accounts according to your number of Stores. Remember to register with the Store names for distinction.

Step 2: Modify "BR Name"

  1. Enter the store account

  2. Go to “Company” --> “Company”

  3. On the "Company" page, enter the company’s information in “System Display Name”, “BR Name” and "BR No."

  4. Please remember to unify the "BR Name" in all store accounts, to keep the payroll and tax returns with the same company name

Through the above steps, we can use a unified company name for Payroll and finish tax work. It is convenient for management.
