1. [Autopay] - Web - Bank of China DAT New Autopay File
If the company’s bank account is with Bank of China, the AutoPay file format will be updated to DAT New.
2. [Time Zone Settings] - App - Default Server Based on Mobile Region
The default server is set according to the mobile’s region setting. When the region is set to Australia, the server will be set to Australia; otherwise, it will default to Hong Kong.
The default cache will apply to users who install the app for the first time. If the server is changed later, the cache will use the updated server settings.
3. [Field Attendance] - Web - Field Attendance Feature Optimization
The field attendance function has been optimized with the addition of binding and restricting employee clock-in devices. When selecting "Day" in [Attendance] → [Attendance Overview], the shift and clock-in time will be displayed, and an attendance status filter has been added.
The field attendance feature is restricted by default. Employees are allowed to use the field attendance feature unless otherwise configured. Admin or HR users can adjust this setting through the Attendance Configuration in the Web portal.
Binding and restricting clock-in devices for employees is designed to prevent situations where employees clock in on behalf of others. This can also be managed in the attendance configuration, where devices can be unbound if necessary. The unbinding process is typically done when an employee leaves the company or when they need to change their device. This action can only be performed by Admin or HR users.
In the Attendance Overview, selecting "Day" will display the actual schedule for the day along with the corresponding clock-in data. The filtering feature has been enhanced with the addition of an attendance status filter.
4. [Server Switch Display] - App - Login - Enhanced Server Switch Display
The server switch display during login has been enhanced to provide a clearer indication when switching servers.
5. [Open Shift] - Web - Integration of Non-Open Shift Hours into Payroll Calculation
For regular shifts scheduled outside of OpenShift, if there are scheduled tasks, the working hours will be included in the employee’s task certification record after payroll calculation and review.
Currently, this update is only available in the testing environment and has not yet been officially released.
6. [Employee Filter] - Web - Employee Filtering Enhancements for Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan Versions
The employee filtering criteria have been expanded to include: Tag, Cost Center, Leave Rules, Payroll Rules, and Employment/Termination Date Range.
7. [Open Shift] - Web - 'Code' Field Update
The 'Code' field in [Open Shift] has been modified to an optional field. It can now be left blank and allow duplicate entries.
8. [Autopay] - Web - HSBC HSBCnet HKMRI Autopay File Development Requirement
If the company’s bank account is with HSBC Bank (Bank Code: 024), the corresponding AutoPay file will follow the latest file format.
9. [Bulk Save] - App - Workstem One App - Bulk Save Shift Scheduling for Subordinates
In the Workstem One App, when switching months for subordinates' shifts, if there is scheduling data for the current month, users will be prompted to save before switching the month.
10. [Project/ Job Pro] - Web - Bug Fix for Project/ Job Management Deletion
Project/ Job Management that have been referenced can no longer be deleted. However, categories that are not referenced can be deleted normally.
11. [Employee Status] – Web – Feature Development: Batch Update of Employee Resignation Status via Template
This feature allows bulk updates of employee resignation statuses using a template file. You can:
Change the status of employees under "Resignation in Process" back to "Active" by cancelling the resignation.
Update the status from "Resignation in Process" to "Resigned" to complete the resignation process.
12. [Tenant Registration] – Web – Bug Fix: New Tenant Registration Issue (Hong Kong)
Previously, newly registered tenants in the Hong Kong version were unable to access the tenant page due to a backend error.
This issue has now been resolved, and new users can successfully access the tenant page after registration.
13. [Employee Profile] – Web – Permissions for Import/Export Function Restored
The permissions for the Employee Profile Import/Export feature have been restored. Users with the roles Admin, HR, or Employee File can now access the import/export functionality. Access remains subject to the scope of their Advanced Authorization settings.
14. [Timesheet] – Web – Round Off Applied Hours to Two Decimal Places
When calculating applied hours in the timesheet, the system will now round off the value to two decimal places.
